Our History
Dison International School emerged from Dolly Memorial Crèche and Nursery School, which started from a very humble beginning in a garage of house number D7 at the Labone Estates in September 1970 with six children forming the nucleus of the school.
In 2007, the school acquired a four-acre piece of land from the East Dadekotopon Development Trust (Serviced Land) at East La, behind Burma Camp, to build the primary and secondary schools, with a new name, Dison International School.
The Primary school started in 2013 at the premises of Dolly Memorial Crèche and Nursery School, when the pupil population at Dolly was 500 in the crèche, nursery and kindergarten departments, and there was an urgent need to expand into the primary sector. It relocated to Burma Hills on September 2015
Dison International School has a Board of Directors made off of its business partners, Mr. Alexander Nnoma-Addison, Mrs. Felicity Cudjoe, Mrs. Laurinda Addy, Mr. Frederick Nnoma-Addison and Ms. Pearl-Martha Nnoma Addison and is in the process of setting up an Academic Board.
The intention of establishing an International School in Ghana for children from diverse cultural backgrounds is to prepare pupils for a globalized world. The curriculum for the school is based on the English National Curriculum.

Stanza 1
Teach me Thy way, O Lord,
Teach me Thy way;
Thy gracious aid afford,
Teach me Thy way.
Help me to walk aright;
More by faith, less by sight;
Lead me with heav’nly light,
Teach me Thy way.
Stanza 2
When doubts and fears arise,
Teach me Thy way;
When storms o’erspread the skies,
Teach me Thy way.
Shine through the cloud and rain,
Through sorrow, toil, and pain;
Make Thou my pathway plain,
Teach me Thy way
Stanza 3
Long as my life shall last,
Teach me Thy way;
Where’er my lot be cast,
Teach me Thy way.
Until the race is run,
Until the journey’s done,
Until the crown is won,
Teach me Thy way.
